Steps of the Paradis Remodel Process
Phase 1: Free Consultation
After you contact us about your project, we…
- Visit with you to learn about your project goals, ideas, wants, and needs
- Tour other areas of your home to understand your taste, style, and home’s architecture to ensure consistency with your project
- Present who we are, what we do, and how we do it
- Discuss the project options, general scope of work, time frame, and budget
If we both agree that we’re compatible, then we will produce a Design Agreement.
Upon its approval, we collect a design fee and progress to the next phase.
Phase 2: Design
After you approve the Design Agreement, we work closely with you to…
- Measure and assess project areas
- Set up a trade walkthrough visit with subcontractors who will be working on your project
- Assess the need for building code-related upgrades triggered by the project
- Develop a complete scope of work, plans, and schedule
- Assist with the selection of products and materials for your project
- Compile and organize project documents
After reviewing the project with the Lead Carpenter, we will produce a Construction Agreement. Upon its approval, we collect a deposit and progress to the next phase.
Phase 3: Build
After you approve the Construction Agreement, we…
- Obtain applicable permits
- Order materials, schedule subcontractors, and confirm project start date
- Complete your project, collecting scheduled progress payments during the process
Finally, we meet with you to complete close-out paperwork, including warranty information and a survey for your feedback.
